Monroe, Utah — Verna Jane Globke, age 88, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2026, at the Richfield Care Center.

Verna was born on March 18, 1938, in Hollister, California, to Maybelle Pacheco. She graduated from Hollister High School with the class of 1956.

On August 19, 1956, Verna married Phillip Ernest Globke in Hollister, California. Together, they shared a beautiful life with their four children. In 1997, Verna and Phillip left California and made Utah home. Phillip preceded her in death on September 1, 2013.

Verna was a member of the Lutheran Church and found joy in the simple things in life. She enjoyed reading, sewing, and baking, sharing her talents with those around her.

She is survived by her four children: John Globke, Lisa Globke, Lauri Peterson, and P. Edward Globke; 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip and a great grandson, Marshall Bateman.

Cremation services are under the care of Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Richfield and Salina.
