Our dear father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Terry LaNaie Albrecht, passed away in Salt Lake City, April 15, 2018, at the age of 64. Terry was born September 12, 1953, in Richfield Utah, son of Owen LaNaie and Ranae Hunt Rees Albrecht. Terry graduated from Wayne High School, Class of 1971 and attended Diesel Mechanic School in Denver. Terry was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and also attended the Sulphur Springs Cowboy Church in Texas. He married Brenda Sellers September 19, 1975 in Hanksville, Utah and later divorced. Terry married Sheila Howarth on December 14, 1979 in Las Vegas Nevada and later divorced. The adventures of Terry have been so grand, there isn't enough space to write them all. They range from being on horseback in the desert while trying to get someone wet in the Dirty Devil, to being high in the mountains chasing cattle or game. He was a renowned hunting guide and outfitter, and well known for his buffalo hunting expertise. His travels took him all over the world, from Canada, to Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South America hunting exotic critters. He never drowned a worm in Lake Powell, but loved fishing with family at Lake Texoma. He also enjoyed floating the Current River in Missouri. He was an NFR ticket holder since 1985, and loved going to the horse races - you could usually find him at the races anywhere from Nevada to Hot Springs, Arkansas. Terry felt that between him, one of his kids, a horse, and a dog, just about anything in the world could be accomplished. He was a great rancher, cattleman, father, and friend. And believe it or not, he did have chickens in Texas. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Dixie Albrecht, and his son Jarid Heber Albrecht. He is survived by his children: Keisha (Jeremy) Bowman of Cedar City; Ronnie (Tracy) Albrecht of Mountain Grove, MO, and Bryce Albrecht of Houston, TX, 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sister and brothers: Janet (Dan) Barp of Spanish Fork; Danny (Sharon) Albrecht of Richfield; Dona (Mitch) Bastian of Annabella; Kelly (Laura) Albrecht of Wapanucka, Oklahoma.
