Gunnison, Utah - Stephen William Treloar, beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, at the age of 77, was reunited with his sweetheart on June 15, 2026 at his home in Gunnison. He was born in Richmond, California on January 12, 1949 to William Hawley Treloar and Ellen Irene Gangler.
Stephen served in the United States Army from June of 1969 to June of 1971.
He married his sweetheart, Robin Diana McDonald November 25, 1980 in Reno, Nevada. They spent many wonderful years raising their family together and later spoiling their grandbabies. She preceded him in death on April 30, 2018.
Stephen loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed Nascar, rodeos, being at the lake fishing and camping. Above all, he adored his grandchildren.
Stephen is survived by his children: Michael Hernandez of Centerfield, Michelle (Rex High) Shaw of Gunnison, Michael (Allison) Treloar of California; grandchildren: Teresa (Kyle Ortwein) Hernandez, Tayslee (Claudia) Hernandez, Tyler (Hanna) Shaw, Nikayla (Brandon) Russell, Harley (Callie) Shaw, Talan (Makayla Stephensen) Shaw, Kierston High, Jett (Kailey) High, Bella Treloar, Maddox Treloar; and great-grandchildren: Easton Kay Russell, Walker Lee Russell, Kai William Russell, Ayden Shaw, Datsun Shaw, Ember Shaw, Kace High.
Preceded in death by his loving wife, Robin Treloar; his parents; sisters: Sharon Harris and Shelly Roberts; brother-in-law, Tom Roberts; son-in-law, Kay Shaw.
A special thanks, as we are deeply grateful to everyone who cared for Stephen and an extra appreciation for Gunnison Hospice for their kindness and compassion to us and to him during his final days.
Cremation services are under the care of Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Richfield and Salina.
A celebration to honor Stephen's life will be held at a later date.
