Stacia Lyn Rorke

American Fork, Utah - Stacia Lyn Rorke, age 46, passed away October 1, 2025, at her home in American Fork. She was born April 27, 1979, in Provo, a daughter of Stan Albrecht and Evelyn Pedersen.

Stacia never did anything halfway. She was smart, stubborn, and feisty, and she lived every day in full color—mostly pink. As the youngest of 6, she wore her princess crown proudly (and sometimes dramatically), but she balanced that with being the life of the party and loving fiercely. She was daddy’s little girl and mom’s best friend. Her mischief kept her siblings on their toes, while her playfulness kept them laughing. She was their travel companion, a shoulder to cry on, and the first to join for a trip to the movie theater. With her sister Rachelle, she was part of a pair that seemed inseparable: “Rachelle and Stacia” was practically one word growing up.

Stacia adored her son, Cooper, who was the light of her life. Her love for him never wavered, and his Christmas gifts were never a disappointment. Family was a constant in her life, and many hours were spent with siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, and anyone else who came along. She started family traditions like Sunday picnics in the park, and those traditions live on because of her.

She had a particularly special magic with young kids. If you were little and in her orbit, you were instantly in for a good time and special attention (and sneaky treats when mom and dad said no). Her nieces grew up with hours of dance choreography, elaborate hair salon messes, endless board games, or being introduced to horror films they had no business watching at such young ages. She was also the family’s most enthusiastic welcome committee—stepkids, nieces, nephews, or friends of friends, Stacia made sure everyone belonged.

She was a Dodgers superfan and never missed a game—right up to her very last night. Her obsessions ran wide and true: movies, pedicures, Pink brand everything, Bath & Body Works lotions, ranch, treats, Natural Ice chapstick, and of course, her spoiled cat (who will surely miss her more than anyone). She also single-handedly kept Uber in business, vanishing from family events at the drop of a hat. If she did reappear, it would likely be with a Diet Coke and a jug of Hidden Valley light ranch. If ranch was a love language, Stacia was fluent.

She was the queen of egg-shaped cupcakes at Easter, seven-layer dip at family parties, and the golden egg hunt that is still legendary. Nightly snacks were a ritual, even if they mostly sat untouched, and fresh veggies were a given and cooked beautifully.

In her professional life, she was well-respected and a force to be reckoned with. Colleagues and contacts described her as classy, hard-working, independent, and a beautiful soul. Like everything she did, she gave work her all.

Stacia was sharp, strong-willed, sweet, spicy, and, yes, a little bit spoiled—but we wouldn’t have had her any other way. Stacia made our lives brighter, funnier, and more stubbornly pink. While we’ll miss her fiercely, we’ll keep dancing, snacking, advocating, and loving loud the way she always did. Her legacy will live on through those who felt her unconditional love and experienced the joy that came with knowing her. We will think of her as we cheer for the Dodgers–with ranch in the fridge and chapstick in our pockets. Love you, Stac.

Stacia is survived by her son, Cooper Rorke of Pleasant Grove; her mother, Evelyn Pedersen of Pleasant Grove; her father, Stan (Joyce) Albrecht of Fremont; her siblings: Sheri Booth, Michael (Becky) Albrecht, all of Pleasant Grove; Bryant Albrecht of Sandy; Rachelle (Robert) Booth of Lehi.

She is preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Albrecht; and by her grandparents: Elda and Carl Ellett; Alta and Rex Albrecht.

We invite family and friends to join us in pink, Dodger’s gear, or Dodger’s blue to share memories and celebrate Stacia. Services will be at the Springer Turner Funeral Home, 260 North 400 West Richfield, Utah, Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. with a visitation one hour prior to the services.

Interment will be in the Fremont Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
