Shellie Ann Buckwell

Richfield, Utah - Shellie Ann Buckwell, age 65, passed away at the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah on August 26, 2026. She was born on January 30, 1961 to Charles and Janice Bramble Denter in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Shellie lived in Utah her whole life, growing up in Salt Lake City. She spent her time playing jacks and with her dolls. She attended and graduated West High School, and went on to attend Salt Lake Community College where she earned her Associates in Business. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. 

Shellie married her first spouse, Steven Cravens in Salt Lake City. They had 2 beautiful daughters, Belinda and Chastity Cravens. Steven and Shellie later divorced. She met William Buckwell with whom she married, but later divorced. 

She enjoyed reading her murder mystery books, watching movies and swimming in her free time. Shellie was the most kind and caring human being. If you were hungry, she would feed you. If you needed an ear, she'd listen. She'd give anyone in need the shirt off her back. She was selfless, kind and loving to anyone who walked into her life. Her bright light will be missed by all who knew and loved her!

Shellie is survived by her daughters: Belinda Cravens of Richfield, Chastity Cravens of Salina; sister, Valerie Halsey of Salt Lake City; and brother, Matt Denter of Salt Lake City; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Janice; son, Brian Denter and sister, Mary Vigil.

Cremation services are under the care of Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
