Monroe - Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Ronald LeRoy Beason, age 86, passed away on June 2, 2025 at his home in Monroe with his loved ones by his side. He was born January 14, 1939, in Ennis, Montana to Robert Riley and Emma Rosella Shoemaker Beason. He grew up in Montana where he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Ronald met and married Donna Jean Syddall in Richfield on December 12, 1959. Together they had four children.
Ronald was a proud graduate of the Mining Academy in Beckley, West Virginia, where he honed the skills that would guide him throughout his distinguished career. He dedicated many years of his life to serving as a Federal Mine Inspector for the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), a role that took him to various locations including Dallas, Texas, Denver, Colorado, and Moab, Utah. After a fulfilling career, Ronald retired in 2000 and relocated to Monroe, Utah.
Beyond his professional life, Ronald was a painter, he also had a deep love for the great outdoors, enjoying activities such as hunting and fishing. His interests extended to his love for cattle and horses, which brought him much joy.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Donna Beason of Monroe, his children, Rabecca Beason of Grand Junction, Colorado, Janet and Sean Leavitt of Elsinore, Ron and Nahid Beason of Phoenix, Arizona, David and Jessica Beason of Tulsa, Oklahoma, 13 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren, his siblings, Sharon Abernathy of Moab, Edward and Barbra Beason of Craig, Colorado, and Marion and Bob Trimble of Farmington.
He is preceded in death by his siblings: Bob Beason, Cyrilla Rydell, Edith Beason, Bill Beason, and Jim Beason.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel, 260 North 400 West in Richfield, where friends may call for viewing Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 AM prior to services.
Burial will be in the Monroe Cemetery under the care of Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Richfield and Salina.
