Robert B Winn

Juneau, Alaska - Robert B Winn, age 71, passed away on November 23, 2025 in Salt Lake City. Robert was born on April 29, 1954 in Salt Lake City to Robert and Renee Henderson Winn.

He grew up in Richfield and Salt Lake City, his favorite childhood activities were marbles, baseball, basketball, and playing the banjo. He graduated from South High, class of '73, during high school he participated in drama, choir, football, basketball, and soccer. He married Verlynn Jukes in Sandy, Ut on February 12, 1976.(

Robert and Verlynn moved to Juneau, Alaska in 1989, until returning back to Utah in 2024 to care for Robert's mother Renee before her passing. He loved Alaska and wanted to move back. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, bowling, still playing the banjo, and anything to do with computers. He was an active member of the Church of Latter-day Saints.

Robert is survived by his wife, Verlynn Winn, his children: Rebecca Heather (Charles) McCracken, Robert Levie (Sunshine) Winn, Benjamin Taylor (Charity) Winn, Meleta Marie Winn, Leo Judson (Krista Stavelend) Winn, 18 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and his brother: Randy E. Winn.

Preceded in death by his parents, and sister-in-laws: Brenda Winn and Rosezella Shurtleff.

Graveside services for Robert will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at the Monroe Cemetery under the care of Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina. 

Visitation will be held from 10:00 - 10:30 A.M. at the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel, 260 North 400 West, Richfield, on Saturday, prior to graveside services.
