Axtell, Utah - Patricia Ann Preston, age 79, passed away on April 22, 2026 in Centerfield. She was born on February 20, 1947 in Delta to William Franklin and Mabel Carter Beach. She grew up in Delta, later moving to Murray.

Patricia graduated from Murray High School in 1965 and furthered her education in nursing. During her life, she worked as a respiratory therapist and a private duty nurse, before retiring she worked for Discover Card. March 6, 1972 she married Thomas Albert Preston, he preceded her in death in 1977. In 2018, she relocated to Centerfield to be closer to her daughter.

She was very charming and charismatic. She did a wonderful job raising three children on her own. Patricia was a wonderful cook, something she enjoyed doing. She loved to dance, watch movies, and to listen to music. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

Patricia is survived by her children: Jodi (Alan) Anderson of Axtell, Jeff Preston of Salt Lake, Jarren (Christine) Preston of Stansbury Park, 5 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, her sisters: Alice Spor, Mary Tucker, Emma Holley, her brothers: Bill Beach and Jim Beach.

The family would like to give special thanks to all the staff at Mission at Community Rehab and Gunnison Hospice for the care, love and compassion they showed her.
