Venice Utah - Beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend Mauri Robin Torgerson Brown age 50, passed away on April 1, 2026 in Fillmore. She was born in Richfield on April 24, 1975 to Kendall C and Dayna Robin Zingelman Torgerson.
Mauri grew up in Circleville, where she created many cherished memories - riding horses, spending time with friends, swimming at Butch Cassidy’s Old Homestead and enjoying family camping trips. She attended Piute High School where she was a cheerleader, played basketball and consistently made the honor roll graduating with the Class of 1993. Following high school, she pursued her passion at Evans Hair School in Cedar City, earning her cosmetology license.
She had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She especially enjoyed horseback riding, tending to her garden, taking on home improvement projects and spending time boating. She also had a love for hunting, rodeos and embracing every opportunity to be active and outside.
Mauri is survived by her children: Aspen (Logan) Allinson, Lex (Brynn) Leany, Megan (Eric) Utley all of Richfield, Kerby (Jessica) Leany of St.George, Dalton (Marquessa) Brown of Minersville, Tony (Tyler) Bland of Colorado, Baxter Brown of Richfield; her husband Skip Brown of Venice; her parents Kendall and Dayna Torgerson of Austin; sisters: Kellie (Dusty) Esplin of Marysvale, Kris (Dalton) Lisonbee of Elsinore; brothers: Jace (Janalee) Torgerson of New Castle, Wyoming, KC (Nicole) Torgerson of Washington; her 8 grandchildren: Stetson, Zayne, Eleanor, Charlee, Kieran, Ada, Steele and Kentley.
