Sigurd, Utah - Marilyn Jane Wheeler passed away peacefully in her home in Sigurd, Utah on October 12, 2026. She was born on February 20, 1937 in Lima, Ohio to Joseph Elijah Winget and Leila Irene Middleton. 

Marilyn grew up in Lima, Ohio; Phoenix, Arizona; and Bell Garden, California. She also lived in Bloomington, California from 1955-1992. She enjoyed playing baseball and riding her bicycle. Bowling and creative writing were also hobbies of hers. She was a devout member of the First Assembly of God. She met and married Donald Lee Wheeler in Bloomington, California on July 2, 1954. He passed away on January 27, 2014.

Marilyn is survived by her children: Margarite (Rickie) Tubbs of Sigurd; Kathleen (Mark) Wahler of Sigurd; Steven (Charlotte) Wheeler of Rosemond, California. Along with 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Leila; her husband, Donald Wheeler; daughter, Elizabeth Irene Wheeler; sister, Lila Posada; and brother, Joseph Winget.
