Taylorsville, Utah - Margia Giles Vander Veur passed away at the University of Utah Hospital on June 8, 2026 surrounded by her family. She was born in Salina, Utah on September 5, 1944 to John Ellett and Maida Torgerson Giles.
Margia was married to Henry Vander Veur for 56 years. She is a beautiful, loving soul who will be missed dearly.
Burial Services were held on Tuesday June 16, 2026 in the Bicknell Cemetery where she was wanting to lay her body to rest next to her parents. Services were under the care of Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
