Loretta May Custis

Salina, Utah- Loretta May Custis passed away peacefully at her home in Salina on November 21, 2025. She was born February 14, 1937 in Tucson, Arizona to Harry C. Mulholland and Rose B. McCane. There she grew up and later attended Amphitheater High School, graduated class of 1955.

Loretta married her first husband Richard Sidney Owen in Tucson, Arizona. He passed away on November 25, 1965. She married Terry LeRoy Custis in Las Vegas, Nevada. He passed on December 5, 1995. She worked as a secretary with the school district for many years.

Loretta is survived by her sons: Joseph O. (Lorraine) Custis of Salina, Steve Owen of Herriman; Step- daughter: Cheryl Altman of Phoenix, Arizona; Grandchildren & Step Grandchildren: Susie O. Stalder of Winnemucca, Nevada, Kyle O. Custis of Salina, RJ Custis of Herriman, John Custis of Herriman, Cassie Owen of Las Vegas, Nevada & Leah Silverman; 4 Great- Grandchildren: Skyla M Custis of Oregon, Angelina L Cannizarro of Boise, Idaho, Lilly M Custis of Boise, Idaho, Ajay J Custis of Salina; 1 Great-Great Grandchild: Addison L. Cannizzaro of Boise Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her parents; First spouse: Richard Owen; Second spouse: Terry Custis. Step-Great Grandson: Shawn Caine.

Cremation services are under the care of Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Richfield and Salina.
