St. George, Loa, Utah – My companion, partner, and loving devoted wife passed away peacefully following a series of accidents and illness. Larna was at her home in St. George attended by Intermountain Homecare and Hospice and her husband Keith Busenbark on July 5, 2021. The last four months of her life were very challenging, but now she is in a place where she is with her parents and her 13 siblings all of whom preceded her in death. Larna was the only child in the marriage of Ephraim Taylor and Mae Webster. Eph and Mae were each married and their original partners had passed away. Eph brought seven children to the marriage and Mae already had six children. Larna came along five years later. Larna’s life was mostly spent away from her birth place in Loa, Utah. Loa and Wayne County were always special to her. She met her future husband while in the eighth grade at Wayne High School. Both she and her future husband were elected to class leadership positions in the eighth grade. Later in the year the Girl’s Preference Dance was scheduled and Larna asked Keith to be her date. That was the end of the beginning. Larna and Keith finished high school and went on to the University of Utah together. Their courtship continued to grow more and two years later they were married for time and eternity In the Manti Temple on June 18, 1957. Upon graduation they relocated to Southern California for work. Larna continued her banking career and Keith was an Aerospace Engineer. Life was good in California at that time. Larna was very successful in her Banking career. A significant accomplishment was her promotion to Vice President of Bank of America, Southern Division. She was the first lady employee to earn that promotion. We retired and returned to Utah in 1999 where we purchased a new home, and lived the good life in the SunRiver community. Larna and Keith have always been loyal members of the LDS Church and have received many blessings which have been available to both of us. We would like to thank Intermountain Homecare and Hospice for the loving care they extended to both of us. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 1:00P.M. in the Loa, Utah Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing at the Loa LDS Stake Center Saturday morning from 11:00 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Loa Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
