Koami loved to read. We often found mom reading to dad. Her love of reading sparked a love of reading in Dad. She loved sewing and piecing together baby quilts. Every grandchild was loved with a homemade quilt. She loved writing letters and sending cards. She always kept her hands busy by serving others. She crocheted, knitted and loved crafting. She was a beautiful seamstress and enjoyed sewing clothing for children and grandchildren. Mom was a funny lady. She loved hearing and telling funny jokes. She enjoyed being happy.
Mom leaves behind her beloved husband and best friend, Wayne; two brothers: Clark and Ross; her 5 children, 21 grandchildren, and 47 great-grandchildren.
Koami passed away on September 26, 2024 at home with many of her loved ones. She was welcomed home by her parents, her brothers and sister and a great-granddaughter, Olivia Grace Andreason.
