Redmond, Utah — Jade Owen Willden passed away at his home on April 6, 2026, at the age of 39.
Jade was born on November 25, 1986, in Provo, Utah, to Tim and Colleen Lewis Willden. He spent his childhood growing up in Redmond, where he loved riding 4-wheelers, camping, hunting, and spending time with his friends. Those early years shaped his love for the outdoors and the strong friendships he carried throughout his life.
Jade attended Cedar Ridge and North Sevier High School, graduating in 2005. He later continued his education at Snow College South in Richfield, Utah.
He married Katrina Anderson on June 25, 2011, in Richfield; they later divorced. Jade found lasting love when he married Brittney Dawn Johnson on March 6, 2014, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together they built a life centered around family and were blessed with three children: Everlie, Timber, and Lakelyn, who were the light of his life.
Jade had a strong work ethic and made many lasting friendships throughout his career. He began working at Fishlake Resorts at the age of 16, where he created lifelong memories and friendships. He later worked for Willow Bend Construction alongside Andy Rasmussen and Josh Talbot, and also for Larsen’s Ace Hardware, Mountain Land, and Owens Corning. His favorite job, however, was driving trucks for Pepsi—where he was known for his humor, especially when it came to “cussing the traffic.”
Above all, Jade loved spending time with his family. Whether it was being with his kids, cooking with Rocky Pope and Chris Averett also known as Smokin Broz, or simply enjoying time together, he cherished those moments most.
Jade is survived by his loving wife, Brittney Dawn Willden; his children, Everlie, Timber, and Lakelyn, all of Redmond; his parents, Tim and Colleen Willden of Redmond; his brother, Josh (Leslie) Willden of Scipio; and his nieces, Hadlee Jo & Danika and nephews, Zander and Jesse who adored him. He is also survived by his in-laws: Buck and Chris Buford of Tennessee; Don and Tammara Johnson of Kentucky; and Brett Johnson of Spanish Fork.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Janey Ann Willden; his brother, Jesse Carl Willden; and his grandparents, Carl and Ramona Lewis, and Devoy and Ila Willden.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all of Jade’s friends and family who supported him and his loved ones over the past six months.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Redmond LDS Ward Chapel. Viewings will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 17 at the church and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the services on Saturday.
Livestreaming of the services will be available on Jade’s obituary page at springerturner.com approximately 15 minutes prior to the service.
Interment will take place in the Redmond Cemetery under the care of Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Richfield and Salina.
A luncheon for Jade will be held at the Old Town Hall in Redmond at 18 West Main street following the Interment. All of his friends and family are invited to celebrate him. Please bring a beverage of your choice.
