Obituary

Richfield, Utah - Glenn Golden Kimball, age 86, passed away on February 14, 2026 in Richfield. Glenn was born on April 28. 1939 in Salt Lake City, to Fredrick Clarence and Annie Francella Jensen Kimball.

Glenn graduated from North Sevier High School, Class of '57, during his high school years he participated in F.F.A. and Track & Field. After high school, he was drafted into the United States Army, eventually becoming a Sergeant and serving on the President's Honor Guard, he honorably discharged in 1965.

Glenn married his Sweetheart Kathryn Sue Ollerton in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 21, 1961. 

He started his career at Mountain Fuel in 1963 as a utility worker in Salt Lake City, he progressed to being a Customer Service Supervisor in Rock Springs, Wyoming, after 33 years, he retired as the District Manager in Richfield.

Glenn loved the outdoors - hunting, fishing, off-roading, camping, rock hounding, hiking, or boating. He also enjoyed going to auctions and bargain hunting. 

Glenn leaves behind his wife, Kathryn Kimball, of Richfield; his children: Glennyn/Lenny and Jamie Kimball of Murray, Kentucky, Gregory and Jean Kimball of Gilbert, Arizona, Crystal Kimball of Richfield; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and brother, Keith and Judy Kimball of Moab, Utah.

Preceded in death by his parents and his sisters: Bonnie Veater-Robinson, Virgie Ann Hughes.

Funeral services for Glenn will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the Richfield LDS Stake Center. A viewing will be held from 9:00- 10:30 A.M. at the Stake Center prior to services.

Livestreaming of his service will be available at springerturner.com under his obituary 15 minutes before service start time.

Burial with military honors accorded by the Utah Army Honor Guard and American Legion Post #118 will be in the Redmond Cemetery under the care of Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Richfield and Salina.
