Dunken Leslie of Cannonville, Utah, passed away at the hospital in St. George, Utah, on December 3, 2018, surrounded by loved ones. He was born to Janie Pollock and Randel Leslie on December 21, 1993, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended Bryce Valley Schools. He played football, with his nickname being “BoBo” because his number was 00. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, shooting guns, and getting firewood. Riding four-wheelers, dirt bikes and snowmobiles with his brother were also a favorite. Instead of playing Barbies with his sisters, he would get out his army men and play alongside them. In 2006, he met the love of his life Deborah. They were together for 4 years and had their first child, Karsten, in 2013. On Christmas Day 2013, they got engaged. In 2017 they had their second son Michael. He took pride in his kids and helping his family with whatever they needed. He was currently employed at Bryce Canyon Pines Restaurant where he was the head of the kitchen. He worked there for 5 and a half years, made many friends, and was the peacemaker that kept it running smoothly. The owners Marty and Ethel Rich took care of him like a son. He is survived by his mother Janie (Dee) Pollock and father Randel (Dianna) Leslie; siblings Sylvana (James) Gray, Dustin (Shilo) Leslie, Sandy (Charlie Morgan) Leslie; fiancée Deborah Gray and sons Karsten and Michael, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by older sister Mary Ann Leslie; grandparents Don and Louise Mangum, Kenneth and Doris Leslie, and special friend Jim McDaniels. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2018 in the Cannonville LDS Ward Chapel, 30 South Main Street, Cannonville, Utah. Friends may call for viewing Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Georgetown Cemetery under the care or the Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Richfield and Salina.
