Centerfield, Utah - Our beloved brother, uncle and friend, Donald Max Follett, age 83, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on July 29, 2017 in Centerfield, Utah. He was born October 6, 1933 in Centerfield, a son of Emmel N. and Hazel Maurine Ditlevson Follett. He attended Gunnison High School and Provo Trade Tech. He served his country in the United States Army from July of 1954 to June of 1956. Donald worked for the Tooele Army Depot as a mechanic. He married Vivian Gwen Harris May 1, 1982 in Tooele. Their marriage was solemnized in the Jordan River LDS Temple January 7, 1984. She died July 2, 2004. Donald was always happy. He loved to travel and enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved to spend time with his family and going out with Norma Jean. He will be deeply missed. Donald is survived by his brother and sister-in-law: Duane and Charlotte Follett of Centerfield; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Emmel and Hazel Follett; siblings: Robert Follett, Dick Follett and Maurine Follett. Grave side services will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Centerfield City Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing at the Centerfield LDS Ward Building, 230 South Main Street in Centerfield, Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial with military honors accorded by the Oliver Russell American Legion Post #105 and the Utah Honor Guard will be in the Centerfield City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
