Venice, Utah - Daniel Weldon Cupp 64, passed away September 2, 2021 in Provo, Utah. He was born January 13, 1957 in San Diego, California to Kenneth Weldon and Leona Anna Buhrke Cupp. He married Karen Anderson and they had two kids, Wayne and Amanda Cupp. They were later divorced. He then married his patient and dedicated wife Kerri Jean Walker December 5, 1987. Kerri has two kids Kaycee and Kenzie. Having his kids, her kids and now theirs together. In addition to his wife Kerri, he had a lifelong love for the Sand Dunes. He loved building buggies to ride, and was always quick to lend a helping hand to others in the middle of the dunes if they broke down. His enthusiasm for the dunes was contagious. He continually invited anyone and everyone he would meet to go out and ride with him. As he would say “The more, the merrier”. He was known for building the rescue buggies for Little Sahara, Utah and St. Anthony, Idaho. He was a mechanic by trade and a darn good one, which wasn’t always a good thing because he frequently worked on people’s vehicles for free. Mechanic by trade, plumber all day… He is survived by his wife, Kerri; children: Kaycee and Jed Pace, Wayne and Daren Cupp, Amanda Draper and Erik Hogge, Kenzie and Marty Dickinson; grandchildren: Kourtnee, Hayden, Brookelle, Kyler, Dylann, Jacie, Brinlei, Kolt, Baylee, Miah, Bodee; siblings: Dennis Lee (Deceased) and Alana Cupp, Janice and George Mynar, Susan and George Steiger. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Weldon and Leona Cupp. A Celebration Of Life will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel, 260 North 400 West in Richfield. Burial will be in the Venice Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
