Koosharem, Utah – Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, Curtis Bagley, age 62, passed away March 5, 2020 at his home in Koosharem, after a brave and valiant battle with pulmonary fibrosis. He was born July 8, 1957 in Richfield, a son of Maven Talmage and Yvonne Curtis Bagley. He graduated from Piute High School, Class of 1975. He attended college in Cedar City and got his Associate Degree. Curtis married Tamera Jean Peterson September 4, 1982 in Richfield, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple September 3, 1987. Curtis is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as Ward Clerk for 14 years, and as the Employment Specialist. He served as mayor and on the town council of Koosharem Town. Curtis worked for the Utah Department of Transportation and retired after 30 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and rock collecting. Curtis was a great cook and made wedding cakes for many people in Grass Valley. He loved to paint and do ceramics. Curtis will be greatly missed. He is survived by his beloved wife, Tammy, of Koosharem; two sons: James Curtis Bagley of Koosharem; Justin T. and Jaycia Bagley of Nebraska; 7 grandchildren; his mother, Yvonne Bagley of Greenwich; siblings: Sandra and Sherrill Barlow of Heber City; Joyce and Ted Christensen of Drape, Talmage (Tack) and Rhonda Bagley of Greenwich; Stacey and Travis Hutchingson of Evanston, Wyoming. He is preceded in death by his father, Maven T. Bagley. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 12:00 Noon in the Koosharem LDs Ward Chapel. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Friday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or at the ward chapel in Koosharem, Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Koosharem Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
