Clint grew up hunting, and riding his horse "Chief". Continuing his love for the hunting and the outdoors he taught Hunter Education from 1982-1989. He enjoyed everything about guns, especially teaching several friends the art of reloading. He loved working with his hands and could take a rusted old file and a chunk of wood or horn and create a beautiful handcrafted knife. He loved being in his shop creating things. Clint loved to visit and had so many friends, he never met someone he couldn't talk to. He also loved to spend his free time reading.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Matheson; 5 children: Alan Matheson of Fircrest, Washington; Russell and Tony Matheson of Springville; Cody and Angie Matheson of Cedar City; Chad and Anne Matheson of Olympia, Washington; and step-daughter Nichole and Preston of Glenwood.
