Richfield, Utah – Kelly Chase Madsen, age 26, passed away February 5, 2020 in Provo, Utah. He was born May 22, 1993 in Richfield, a son of Robert Kelly and Kathryn Bishop Madsen. He graduated from the Granite School District in 2009. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He worked as a dry waller in home construction. Chase enjoyed fishing, hiking and tattooing. Chase was a very tenderhearted, free spirited young man. Even as a small boy, he didn’t want to be held back by boundries. He wanted to bring every stray animal home, because he thought they were cold, hungry or lonely. Even when his mom didn’t agree, more often than not, he managed to sneak them home. He was a very good artist and drew a special birthday card for all his family members. He was also a very talented tattoo artist. He had a special love in his heart for his friends, as well as his family. He was always willing to help anyone in need. He had a great love for all of his kids, the love of his life, Tangie, and he will be greatly missed by everyone. He is survived by his mother, Kathryn Barker of Richfield; his father, Kelly Madsen of Annabella; his children: Ryder, Peyton, Olive, Jax and Tiara; sisters and brother: Lexi Madsen of Richfield; Lacy Davis of Central Valley; Laramy and Shilo Madsen of Annabella; nieces and nephews: Kailee Anderson, Kenna Anderson, Isabella Davis, Swayze Davis and Kynlee Madsen; grandmother, Kaye Brunson of Richfield; grandfather, Eccles Bishop of Delta; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Sandra Bishop, Robert N. Madsen; a nephew: Brink Madsen; and his great-grandmother, Alma J. Ogden. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in the Richfield 6th LDS Ward Chapel, 10 South 200 East in Richfield. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or at the ward chapel on Thursday from 9:00 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Annabella Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
