Loa, Utah - Boyd Alonzo Brown, age 74, of Loa, died August 26, 2010 in Richfield, Utah. He was born July 21, 1936 in Loa, a son of Marion Alonzo and Melda DeLeeuw Brown. He attended schools in Wayne County. He married Evelyn Hamlin, November 25, 1961 in Elko, Nevada. They were later divorced. He was a member of the LDS Church. He loved a good horse and enjoyed being a real cowboy. He was a rancher and farmer, taking care of the family farm for many years. He is survived by his two children: Mark Brown, Kayane (Annie) and Doug Wilson, all of Monroe; two grandsons: Tom and Kelsi Wilson, Troy Wilson; sisters and brothers: Evelyn and Dan Nielson of Greenwich; Gladys and Jerry Miller of Provo; Niel and Brenda Brown of Orem; Marion and Stella Brown of Loa. He was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant sister. Grave side services will be held Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in the Loa Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. Burial will be in the Loa Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
