Aaron Wade Cook passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026.

Born on June 20, 1963, to Dan and Barbara Cook, Aaron spent his childhood in Glendora, California, alongside his siblings Curtis, Dana, and Julianna. He often shared stories of those years and spoke fondly of the friendships and memories he made growing up. Summers spent in Monroe, Utah, became some of his favorite memories, and in 1993 he chose to make Monroe his home.

Aaron was married to Sheri Cook, and together they had four children: Ryan, Cortney, Chad, and Eric. Though their marriage later ended in divorce, they shared many years and raised their family together. Aaron was also the grandfather of twelve grandchildren.

Aaron loved the outdoors and was happiest in the mountains. Whether he was boating, riding four-wheelers, hunting, or simply enjoying nature, he appreciated the freedom and peace that came from being outside. He had a passion for firearms and reloading and took great pride in his work as an electrician.

Hard work was at the center of Aaron's life. He believed in staying busy and rarely sat still for long. He was known for his attention to detail, his determination to do things the right way, and his ability to solve problems that others found challenging. Gifted with his hands and mechanically minded, Aaron could build, repair, or figure out almost anything he set his mind to. Those who knew him often relied on his knowledge and skill when something needed fixing.

Beyond his many projects and outdoor pursuits, Aaron enjoyed simple pleasures as well. He loved a good game of checkers or Connect Four and never passed up the opportunity for a little friendly competition.

Aaron leaves behind family, friends, and many memories from a life spent working hard, learning new skills, and enjoying the outdoors he loved so much. He will be remembered for his independence, his craftsmanship, and the lasting impression he made on those who knew him.

He will be missed and remembered by his family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at the Monroe Cemetery. 

Burial will be in the Monroe Cemetery under the care of Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Richfield and Salina.
