Vaneil M. Taylor

VaNeil M. Taylor Richfield, Utah - Our kind and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Winnie VaNeil Morley Taylor, age 84, died June 26, 2004 in Richfield, Utah. She was born February 16, 1920 in Moroni, Utah, one of five daughters born to Leonard Hansen and Lucy Vesta Smith Morley. She married Vance Taylor, January 5, 1938 in Loa, Utah. They were later divorced. VaNeil was a Pink Lady at the old Sevier Valley Hospital in Richfield for 7 years and at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City for 8 years. She worked as a care taker for elderly senior women in their homes for 10 years. VaNeil was a very active member of the LDS Church, serving in all auxiliaries, especially Relief Society and teaching the youth when her children were young. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. VaNeil is survived by her children: Sharon and Tim Anderson of Sigurd; Kelly J. and Nancy Taylor of St. George; Gary (deceased) and Penny Taylor of Bluffdale; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sisters: Nina Hansen, Fern Anderson, Loree Sorenson and Phyllis Johnson. Grave side services will be held Saturday, July 3, 2004 at 12 Noon in the Manti City Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
