Richfield, Utah – Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Reta Jean Christensen Boyter, age 84, passed away April 23, 2020 in Richfield. She was born March 15, 1936 in Richfield, a daughter of Orin Joseph and Gladys Jeane Mackey Christensen. She married Harold Alexander Boyter September 2, 1952 in the Manti LDS Temple. He died January 28, 2020. Reta is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as a Cub Scout Leader, Visiting Teacher and Relief Society President in the Richfield 7th Ward. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, Camp Richfield, for 27 years. She enjoyed growing flowers, tole painting, collecting recipes, decorating for the holidays and different seasons, going out to lunch with her friends or family. She loved to read and when her eyes got bad, she listened to many books on tape. Reta is survived by her children: Boyd Boyter, Chris and Karen Boyter, Karl and Ronda Boyter, and Brice Boyter, all of Richfield; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister and brothers: Carolyn and Don White of Florida; Mack and Janet Christensen of St. George; Paul and Linda Christensen of Washington City. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Tasha Boyter; a great-granddaughter, Lauren Haaga; and a sister Paulette Sorensen. Private family graveside services will be held at the Richfield City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah. Graveside Services:
