Norma H. Busenbark Torrey/Grover, Utah - Our kind and beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt, Norma Dean Hunt Hunt Montgomery Busenbark Lay, age 73, of Torrey, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2003 in Salt Lake City, Utah, after a lingering illness. She was born June 22, 1929, one of five daughters, born to Floyd Albert and Elsie Anna Laura Ostberg Hunt. She married Faun Ellis Hunt, November 5, 1945 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were later divorced. She married Warren Montgomery, August 15, 1956 in Torrey, Utah. They were later divorced. She married George Monroe Busenbark, April 14, 1964 in Richfield, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, March 12, 1971. He died April 14, 1989. She married Metz Lay, September 7, 1995 in Torrey, Utah. They were later divorced. Norma was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in all auxiliaries. She was a Relief Society Visiting Teacher and worked in Geneology Extraction Program in the Loa Utah Stake. She enjoyed handiwork, crocheting, quilting, painting and making dolls. She worked along side her husband, George, on the farm in Grover, and even after his death, she was active in the farming and changing the sprinklers. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the South Valley Dialysis Center and the Richfield Dialysis Center, the University of Utah Medical Center and Gunnison Home Health, for their tender and loving care of our dear mother. A special “Thank You” to Miriam Jackson for her unconditional love and care with Mom. Norma is survived by her children: Vickie (Deceased) and Victor Nebeker, Mission Viejo, CA; Terry W. and Beth Hunt, Flora and Gilbert Hallows, all of Loa; Jerri and Dee Ivie, Salina; LaFawn and Thomas Kelly, Tooele; Marsha and Rick Lancaster, West Jordan; 25 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; mother, Laura Hunt, of Torrey; sisters: Lenore and Elmer Peterson, Torrey; LaVerne Hunt and Bernice Hiatt, both of Grantsville; Shanna Rae and Michael Simkins, West Valley City. She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Hunt; a daughter, Vickie H. Nebeker; two grandchildren: Carrie Ann Williams and Jason Wayne Hunt. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 10, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. in the Torrey LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call for viewing Saturday morning from 11:00 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Grover Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah. Online guest book at: www.springerturner.com
