Payson/Loa, Utah - Our kind and loving son, brother, uncle and friend, Dustin Edwin Turner, age 23, died December 5, 2007 at his home in Payson. He was born December 28, 1983 in Richfield, Utah, a son of James Kerry and Corinne Peterson Turner. He graduated from Wayne High School, Class of 2002 and went on to college, where he received an Associates Degree in Business Management. Dustin was a Sargent in the Army National Guard and served 1 year in Iraq. He was a member of the LDS Church, Payson 11th Ward. Dustin enjoyed carpentry, camping and hunting, riding 4-wheelers and his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his parents of Payson; brothers and sisters: Rob and Alison Turner of Roosevelt; Wayne and Terra Turner of Salina; Kim and Neil Bagley of Cedar City; Tara and Nick Bennett of Payson; Shana and Robert Young of Salina; good friend, Mike Hansen of Lehi; grandmother: Ina Peterson of Santa Maria, CA. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Dean “JD” Turner; grandparents: Dean Peterson, Willis Turner, Luana Turner Christensen and Leonard Christensen. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 12 Noon in the Payson 11th LDS Ward Chapel, 900 West 400 North in Payson, where friends may call for viewing Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to the services. Additional viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Springer Turner Funeral Home, 260 North 400 West in Richfield. Grave side services and burial will be Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in the Lyman Cemetery, Lyman, Utah with military honors accorded by the Harold Brown American Legion Post #92 and under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
