Koosharem, Utah – Carolyn Hatch Hardman, age 74, of Koosharem, returned to her Father in Heaven May 1, 2020 in St. George, Utah, to be with the three children she was unable to care for on earth, Helen, Amy and Todd. Their reunion is glorious. Her passing was peaceful, but unexpected. Carolyn was born October 12, 1945 in Salina, a daughter of Clarin Sidney and Helen Anna Erickson Hatch. She graduated from Cyprus High School and then went to Dixie College and Weber State, where she received Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Carolyn married the love of her life, Alvin Herbert Hardman September 3, 1965 in Magna, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple December 16, 1988. Carolyn is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as Relief Society President, Young Womens President, working in the Nursery and teaching Sunday School. She worked as a Registered Nurse, was an EMT for the Koosharem Ambulance and was a 4-H Leader. Carolyn enjoyed playing cards, doing ceramics, sewing, and spending time with her family. She loved taking her grandsons to baseball games. She was their biggest fan. Carolyn will be greatly missed. She is survived by her beloved husband, Alvin, of Koosharem; three daughters: Julie (Lorin Robinson) of Midvale; Mary Bruce, Tina (Kent) Perry, all of Koosharem; 13 grandchildren; 15.5 great-grandchildren; brothers: LaWayne (Marian) Hatch of Koosharem; LeGrand (Lynda) Hatch of St. George. She is preceded in death by her parents; children: Helen, Amy and Todd Alvin Hardman; and siblings: Clarina and Paul Gillett; and Merrill Hatch. Private family graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in the Valley View Memorial Park in West Valley City under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
