Bonnie J. Allen Richfield, Utah - Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Bonnie Jean O’Neill Allen, age 62, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2003 in Provo, Utah, after a valiant battle with pneumonia. She was born October 8, 1940 in Richfield, Utah, a daughter of Howard Eugene and Clara Ilein Jorgensen O’Neill. She graduated from Richfield High School, Class of 1958. She married George Brent Allen, June 19, 1959 in Ely, Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple, April 15, 1967. Bonnie was a member of the LDS Church, serving in various auxiliaries. She had been the compassionate leader in the Richfield 7th Ward and thoroughly enjoyed doing that calling. Bonnie loved life and celebrated it whenever she could with family and friends. She devoted her life to her Heavenly Father and to her family. She leaves a legacy of kindness, generosity, compassion and unconditional love that will be felt for many generations. She will always be in our hearts. We love her and miss her and thank her for all her guidance, love and concern. Bonnie is survived by her husband, George, of Richfield; three daughters: Brenda and Gary Barney of Central Valley; Christine and Russell Wanlass of Monroe; Nancy and Boyd Kennedy of Aurora; 11 grandchildren; 1 sister: Janet and Blair Burnett of Ogden. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister: Peggy Ilein Anderson. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 9, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. in the Richfield 7th LDS Ward Chapel, 159 North 400 West in Richfield. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home, 260 North 400 West in Richfield, Sunday evening from 7 to 9 P.M. and at the ward chapel Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah. On line guest book: www.springerturner.com
